Built in 1997 and refitted in 2013, this cozy 18-meter gulet maintains the traditional spirit of classic wooden yachts while providing the essential comforts needed for an enjoyable sailing holiday.
With a length of 18 meters (59.5 ft) and a beam of 5.5 meters, Gulet Ege Gunesi is perfectly sized for smaller groups seeking a private and comfortable charter experience. The yacht can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 cabins, including two master cabins and one double cabin. Each cabin is equipped with its own separate WC and shower unit, offering privacy and convenience for guests during the cruise.
Although the yacht does not have air conditioning, its classic design allows for excellent natural ventilation, making it comfortable for sailing in the warm Mediterranean climate. The interior includes a cozy saloon dining area, cushioned seating spaces, and a fully equipped galley where the onboard chef prepares fresh and delicious meals.
Gulet Ege Gunesi is operated by a friendly crew of three professionals, including a captain, chef, and sailor, who stay in separate quarters to ensure guests enjoy maximum privacy. The crew is well known for their warm hospitality and attentive service. Additional water sports such as ringo, banana rides, water skiing, wakeboarding, paddleboards (SUP), mono ski, jet ski, seabob, and big mable can also be arranged upon request.
Powered by a reliable 490 HP Caterpillar engine, the yacht cruises comfortably at around 9 knots, providing smooth travel between destinations. Electricity onboard is supplied through 12V, 24V, and 220V systems, supported by an 11 kVA generator, ensuring the operation of onboard equipment and guest comfort.
Gulet Ege Gunesi operates from its home port of Bodrum, one of Turkey’s most famous yacht charter destinations. From Bodrum, guests can explore the stunning bays and islands of the Aegean coast, including the beautiful waters of the Gökova Gulf and surrounding Turkish Riviera.
